IAT has NO affect on the drive ability or interaction w/the ECU. It's informational only. I'd just let it go, unless you're trying to get rid of a CEL. If you wire it up, simply ziptie it to anythi...
I used Rotella T6 for 2 track days and it seems to hold up fine. Both track days were in 90F+ days.
Engine didn't blow up and engine still works. Not sure what else you need from an oil. I put in ...
You'd be surprised how much you can grind off/into the block!
Save yourself the trouble, however, and get a GTI-R manifold. If I could do it over, that's what I'd do.

It looks like the tools/set timing thing has been deprecated and/or isn't working. It seems the only way to get the car into timing mode is through the diagnostic menu in the setup tab.
If that ...
We know how to get into timing mode, we are trying to figure out what the tune's base timing is configured off of so we can set physical timing correctly. It's currently set to 5* (crank timing).

Agreed and I was ready to set it on 15* (and we did), but put it back to 5* because I couldn't confirm that's what the tune was expecting and it was way advanced from the perspective of the dizzy p...

That downpipe doesn't melt that top radiator hose? Also, it still has A/C? You can get 2 slim fans on the engine bay side to fit?

I once got on a highway without torquing all the lug nuts down and that was a fun time. Pulled over and was able to take lug nuts off by hand with tire on the ground lol...shit happens, give the gu...
UPDATES!
Well, I have some updates. About 2 weeks ago, as coincidental as it can get, a local b15 SE (LSD) got totaled. With help from a friend, we pulled the tranny from the wrecked b15 and swapp...

That's pretty good. She was super scared. I was worried you were going to go while she was putting on her lip stick or whatever it was.
I've taken my mom for a drive in my car and she likes it, ...
I think the idea of E85 isn't so infused into the B13/B14 world due to our tuning options (JWT) never having an e85 tune afaik.
? You did say you added a little timing..

I'm wondering as well, what the difference is in tunes. Would just changing the fuel maps/k-value and dumping E85 in make much power?
Would you also have to change the timing maps to make more po...
In addition to Kyle's list:
32mm deep socket for axle
17mm wrench for strut housing bolts.
Some sort of torque bar or pipe for hard to get off bolts. A pry bar to pry the tranny away from the en...
50 miles, wow. That's good news because I gotta get my car from my place to another house about 5 miles from me. I noticed 4th and 2nd getting harder to get in gear as I drove along from work to my...

Pretty much as P10 said, you need to weld an open bung into your intake pipe after the turbo(mine's about a 1.5 feet from the TB) and run a hose between the bung and the intake manifold that you bl...
