I'd say a stock Acura Integra GS-R would lose to a NX2000 with the SR20VE swap because the VE has a lot more torque down low. Hell, a stock or lightly modded SR20DE will give a stock GS-R a good run.
You are shifting kind of low in the RPM band in my opinion, at least in that video.
I suggest getting some N1 cams and valve springs, get your ECU retuned to be able to taki it to 8200-8400rpms ...
No. I'd get this one. This is what I'm running:
MSD Ignition 8969 Digital RPM Window Switch | eBay
Get a MSD window switch to control the VVL activation
I watched the video, it didnt look bad to me except that you were shifting a bit early. Try going up like 250-300rpms especially in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear and run that test again.

Anyone who puts an NRA sticker on the back of their car is bloody insane. It will not have the effect of "warning off" potential car-jackers, but it will get the attention of any police officers b...
+1. I will *NEVER* modify another OBDII car again. The OBDI sentra has like, 10 total codes that can come up. OBDII has like 70.
Anyways, I just ordered a new underdrive crank pulley from Gre...
OUCHHH.. it almost sounds like something mechanical.
For the record, I have been working on SR20's since 1999 and I have NEVER heard that sound before.
I don't think there will be much debate on this one... the 2-door was the only B13 that carried the SR20DE engine. The 4-doors were all GA16DE's with soft suspension, rear drum brakes (except MAYB...
Not to be an ass, but if you don't like whats being discussed here you don't have to click on the thread. I find this thread very interesting - for those of us fairly new to the SR20VE, it has ver...
It's kind of like synergy. The more other mods you have, especially when you modify the valve train, the more power you should make with a bigger exhaust. I remember seeing a '98 SE with the stoc...
This. I bought a '97 200sx SE-R for a reasonable price that already had an exhaust. Then I modified it by getting a cold air intake ($150) - ebay header ($150) - JWT ECU used ($250) - Gspec pulle...

While I love the sound when I want to hear it, at WOT, I don't particularly like it when it happens and I'm not trying to do it (merging on the highway or downshifting around a turn during casual d...
Installed brand new G-spec cross drilled/slotted rotors on my '92 VE (has the NX2000 upgrade). Pics:

Well if you really want to compromise between sound level and HP I'd get a 2.5" -OR get a 3" with your cat intact, with a Dynoxmax drone-free muffler. They are about $75 and pretty quiet. I have ...
