I notice my car sounds like popcorn when I decel with the throttle just slightly depressed. Still decel, but I know it is using fuel and popping.

if you are stock I believe it will retard timing a bit across the board. It does on B15s, not 100% on the old cars.

JWT and calum ECUs disable the knock sensor because it makes it too unpredictable to tune.

our cars don't use them for anything. So why bother. If you want a good reliable knock sensor buy an MSD knock light.

basically with the twin gates, one will bleed of cyl 1 & 4, and the other will bleed off cyl 2 & 3. This keeps the pulses seperated all the way to the turbine which basically makes reversion imposs...

check plug gap. If it is lower than .032 then it could just be that. Check AFRs too because I notice a lean miss every now and then. Pretty much same issues you have.

are you on crack? I make 330wtq on 18psi gt30r. This is just about what my disco potato car did on 22psi. I just make the torque at 5000rpm instead of 4500.

I actually found out why mine was burning oil Bad CHRA lol. I got a new on on the new setup and it doesn't smoke at all.

just for some safety net so you can try the tune on different setups to see how it does. Then lean it back out a bit.

I'm sure posting the BIN file would point some others in the right direction though, regardless if it is a perfect tune.

Maf cars are less affected from different setups than MAP based cars, so...

you could do this with a ford maf sensor. The housing MUST be the same size as the pipe you are putting the sensor in, otherwise you will need a new tune. Maf placement must be centered as well.
