I noticed you put the valve springs in, do you plan on revving to 9K? The sr16 cams should be good for that without the change, but you prob just got them for safety right?
I don't remember BC cams ever being tested with dyno graphs showing their gains, yet tons of my friends have tried them with good results. Not as good as the S4 JWT, but very close.
Even with a real disco, the bracket will not work. You will need to make a new bracket to mount the WG actuator on. There are quite a few places that sell them. I found on at jgy customs, but they ...
What's with the drama? If I upgrade cams, these are the ones I am buying. Simple as that. Unless I find a 20V intake cam to try first, that is. I'd like to see the 20V intake coupled with the VET e...
^^^ Ya I figure that. But it isn't like you need less port velocity in that motor anyway, so why flow tons of air right? I still would love to see a RR built to see how it would compete with a lowp...
I have always been impressed with brians workmanship, and his prices. But he is really really busy this year. And getting a clutch from him will cost more and take a longer time. They can't keep up...
There isn't a clutch in the world that will grab harder and not cause more wear (single disk). Don't worry though, aluminum flywheels are abundant and the friction surface is replaceable. Plus it w...
You guys are a bunch of RR haters! I love the RR. Great motor, just needs valvesprings and JWT cams.... but it does have that 4cw crank. Sigh. But I'll continue to give some love to the bastard RR.
There are certain design restrictions that are taken into consideration when doing any motor build. Certainly there are a lot of good reasons why a 1.6 is better.
Hmmm. So you couldn't get ahold of Brian. I just talked to him and he is extremely busy right now. I will get ahold of him again though and we can figure something out if you want to go that route....
The disk I have now is supposed to be pretty liveable until some heat is put in, then it grabs...hard. I won't really know for sure until it is driven and broken in...
Don't bandaid a clutch disk by putting unnecessary pressure on it to get it to hold. This will only cause more stress on your TOB, cable, and thrust bearings.
