What I am trying to say is that the turbo spool is directly affected by the VE of ...

That's good to know. If I do break the 200whp mark by 3800rpm, then that is only 300rpm quicker than the log manifold. But it is a bigger ex housing anyway.

I will take pics of the big leaks tod...

Anyone know what kind of difference these leaks pre-turbo would do to spool and response? I am really anxious to see what happens with the new manifold, especially with all the leaks fixed. I just ...

I have pauters that are machined to accept both 17mm and 19mm bearings. Not really worth having a 19mm bearing, unless you are going to be putting a very serious load on the engine for a long time....

You may quicken response with a smaller housing, but I don't know if you will actually spool the turbo much faster. Not on these particular engines anyway. But I am always anxious to see your resul...

Pulled the manifold off today to discover some things. The exhaust manifold gasket had a leak on cyl #4. The gasket fell apart in my hands. Good thing the new one is MLS.

The first one is a 30R EVO dyno from full race. The second one was posted by JP a few weeks back and is an SR20DET with a TS 30R on big boost.

Hmmm, interesting the Manley looks to be a bit more stout in some areas, but not as much in others. Get any weight measurements?

I am using a 1.25" or about a 32mm SCH10 pipe on this manifold. The old one is coming off tomorrow morning!

I hope the 1.25 is good enough for my 500whp, which I don't see why it wouldn't be. I ...

I agree that eql is overrated. Equal number and degree of bends is more important than length.

So like it was said before, flow is what matters.

I think the little centri charger will work great. A nice smooth powerband, but furious when VVL hits. Should be a nice compromise between a full out NA build and a turbo build.
