do a leakdown test on fuel pressure to see if an injector oring is leaking. Watch fuel pressure as you turn the car off, if it drops right away, then prob fuel leak.

They work really well, just make sure whatever you use that it has an auto turn off feature when the battery reaches full charge, or the battery will dry up.

I thought the CHRA for the 2871 was the same for the 3071, but the housings were different. In any case, I would just keep the 2871 unless you have a t3 manifold.
