What you bolded is what I tell everyone. You don't NEED a restrictor, you just need to have proper drainage so you don't flood the turbo. That's why top mount turbos do better at this.

Correction, it says it is a ka24de with cams and stock bottom with a gt30r, not a 3071. It looks like an SR powerband to me though, right?
