The VE comes stock with squirters. and it will see much higher temps! I think the cooler is a nicely added piece for engine longevity.

I can vouch for that too. I don't know how high I revved at the Utahnissan dyno day. But I pegged the needle for a couple of secs. Car still held together though. Wheel spin in rain at 20psi. haha....

Yea the pistons should be fine with a stock gasket. The VE has the same studs as the DET motors except the GTIR.

if you get a p11 trans you need one from a 01+. The 00+ b15 tranny is stronger too. Just don't make the mistake of getting the 00 P11 trans because it is the same as the 99!

My gt3076r hits full boost at 4500. But hits 10psi by 3800. It is amazingly responsive. But I will soon be upgrading the exhaust housing to the .82 ar I think. The VE hates backpressure.

What oil weight you guys running? The VVL needs at least 40psi to activate so if you are running a 5w30 really hard it can cause the oil pressure to drop.

I have run 20psi+ with factory ignition in good working order. Ignition is the least of your worries. Make sure you have the fuel to boost her higher.

Yes and cheaper too haha. The N1 head is a nice piece. But you have have the same work done for about $300-$400.

The pump will likely last as long as the engine or longer. But I wouldn't think it would be reliable past 9k.

I wish I knew. I am interested to know as well. The rocker ratio changes from the middle rocker as well I think.
