I did get the air cooled. I deleted the water lines.

400whp on 10psi would be insane. I would be way happy if it did that. I don't know if it will make it, but I gotta say that number would be awesome for wastegate spring pressure.

My program is 3 bar, so I am going to watch the AFR on the dyno and see where it comes out at. Wherever I make 500-510whp is where I will stop. Hopefully I can hit that on 20psi, but I am thinking ...

Well, we will see. Have any guesses to what power it will make on 10, 14, and 20psi?

Ok, well the turbo is officially bolted on. Oil lines are hooked up, and it is bolted to the manifold. I deleted the coolant lines which took all of 2 min. And now I have to re-think my intercooler...

You can totally do it without water V. And shutting it down a couple times... is your wife really going to drive it that hard?

But really, it takes a while for that sludge to build up in the turbo...

I talked to the dealer and they said that the 3" is what I have. They just measure from the OD of the flange. Not the ID like the garretts. They call the T4 turbos a 3 5/8" V band, which is really ...

After much reading, it turns out that this is the only one Precision makes. They have a specific Vband that works with a 3" dp too. But the T4 turbos are the only ones with the "true" 3" vband.

The hose clears the compressor housing. It looks really close though. I will make sure it fits without any interference with the radiator hose.

Well I got the turbo on... sort of. the intercooler piping needs to be re-routed. The coolant lines still need to be deleted. And the downpipe needs to be re-flanged.

Turns out the 3" 6262 V band ...

You forget I am using a 1.06 divided housing. That thing is WIDE.

I expect the 6262 to be no longer than 1".

I am starting right now. Going to delete the coolant lines, get a 2.5-2.5 silicon coupler (since the 30r has a 2.0" outlet and the 6262 has a 2.5")

The new turbo has arrived! Going to put it on tomorrow, and dyno as soon as I can. Going to leave the cam gears where they are for now. Then, I will change the timing and dyno again to see the gain...

I second that. The SEL was dead stable at that speed going straight. Wouldn't recommend changing directions to any large degree though lol.

Turbo looks like it is in SLC right now. Perhaps it will get delivered tomorrow? I will have the turbo installed on thursday if all goes well.

I have no idea how fast 8300rpm is. When I worked it out before, 7500rpm was about 175mph.
