The 20V cams hold a steady powerband. And the driveability difference is noticeable and welcome. The best way I can describe it, is that the 20V cams are made for a 2.0. the 1.6 are made for a 1.6....

This graph shows the advanced timing 1.6 vs the 20V cams. The MBC seemed to keep the wg closed longer, or delay opening. But you can really see when the 1.6 cams switch there is a huge difference! ...

I say do it. 7-8psi is safe for sure. Just get the supporting mods with it.
