28* isn't that bad of overlap for turbo. Even guys with T25 still prefer the S4, even though S3 perform better for T25. S4 and a good size T28 can make really good power. We made 300whp on 14psi on...

I decided on 4ga wire for the starter, and another 6ga for the fuse box. I didn't wanna run huge wire through the car, as it seems unnecessary, but it does matter where and how you have it routed.

Never heard of having ignition problems with a trunk battery. But you can see a bit of voltage drop along the wire if connections aren't good, or if the cable is too long. It isn't much of an issue...

Just take the gears you need of the p10 stack and put them on your B14 stack.

You need to keep the mainshaft the same as the b14. The final drive is different. You basically need a 4.176 gearstack to work with it without taking the gears off the stack.

The VET pistons are coated from factory from what I've seen. Also, the rings are not designed for high rpm, and tend to suffer from a bit of ring flutter. Of course, I cannot attest to this persona...

The GTiR isn't the highest output OEM SR. And what about ITBs? They used those as well, but they are hardly necessary. I use the GTiR mains and the GTiR rod bearings as well. Like I said, they aren...

I don't think it does 360 full degrees, but it does feed more oil for longer. The stock VE bearings I have here have 3 holes, but the ACL have 5. I don't really see how necessary it is to have quit...

I remember buying ACL bearings a while back and main/rod set was almost $200. That's what I remember paying for the Race bearings.

The race bearings have more lead in them. OEMs went away from lead because of emissions reasons. The wear rates on them are similar on stock engines, but lead bearings hold more debris easily witho...

Dang, the most anyone here has made is about 280whp with a GT2560r. It was maxxed. But they are supposed to be good around 300.

I do agree that running a log and VET cams does limit the VVL a bit....

yeah, that is where the crossroads lie. Go tubular, or just get cams. Nissan designed those VET cams to work well with a small turbo, and that is the cheapest way to go. Since I have been down both...

For sure on the tune. I hear where you are coming from now. A tune is a good idea on a dyno. I just don't think it will fix the issue.

But the cost of swapping cams is just as cheap as swapping ou...

I would even pick a stock manifold/T28 setup over the log manifold setup. Any day. But to put it simply, a dyno isn't going to fix it. It just isn't. That's where I disagree. No amount of tuning is...

Yup. They modeled this from a P10 engine bay, so when it went in the B14, there was a lot less room than expected.

Dude, i can't wait to see what you are able to run when your project is done. Def wanna see a dyno chart though.

Its a good thing you were able to fit such small wheels with your six-speed too.
