gas mileage on low cams I would imagine to be pretty negligible between styles. The VET cams netted me 30+ mpg on freeway driving pretty easily. Remember, the ex side is basically open all the time...

Its the log manifold. The VVL cams don't work with a log. Needs VET cams for log mani with .63 housing. Car is likely just as fast by not switching them at all.

The VE pump is much much better. Not perfect, but as good as could be expected. Much better improvement over the standard DE/DET pump.
