You are using the SR20 axle outers for the spec V axles? Interesting. The FSM says the SR axles use a Bf83 style outer and the SpecV, QG, and GA axles all share the ZF90 style outer.
I don't think he can get them, but it would be worth a shot. In the aftermarket, the cups are only $2-4. From the dealer, they would prob want $100+ lol.
Check the outer cv cup for grooves. If you see grooves where the ball bearings ride, then you will need to get a new outer cup. The grooves are what make the notorious popping noise you get when th...
Nah, the T3 will support 700+whp. Just not a TS turbo because they don't really make them that big. I could port the 1.06 housing, then extrude hone and make up to the turbo's rated output. But why...
I could do that easily. I've done several rebuilds before. They are very simple and the hardest part is hammering off the outer because there is a circlip holding it in place. Other than that, its ...
i can't knock this setup, it looks like a beast. But on that boost level i would imagine the GT35r making a lot more power. But also, I double check to see that the .78ar housing is being used. I'm...
The ball will rotate in the socket. You can remedy this by applying some force to the ball/socket. Sometimes you have to go mcguyver on it. I've had similar issues with ball joints and tie rods as ...
Im going to finish the transmission swap and get the beast on the road again. Then put on a GTX turbo and throw a pair of slicks on it. Run 500whp and best an 11.4 1/4 mile time with a trap of 128m...
needs radiator hose adapters because the inlet/outlet are 1 1/16 instead of 1 3/8. I just used the GA16 hoses and used them to make adapters that the...
dynojets im convinced don't give high numbers. They give real numbers though a simple algorithm that measures hp. accelerating a known weight at the rate at which a horsepower is measured. 550lb 1 ...
its always an option. But I've seen dyno of the GT35r in T3 and the T4 and they performed identically. Granted both setups weren't the same but the T4 flange still necked down to the same 68mm turb...
Cost is around $500 over the base GT series turbos. The GTX3582r will likely cost me around $2000 with housing. Going to see how the twin scroll works with this beast. The VE is going to love the b...
My 740cc injectors are at 90% duty at 450whp or so according to datascan. But I hear that the injectors can support 550whp or so with more pressure. My maf readings are also very near the 5V max.
Im pretty much set on the GTX35r. Just because I know the VE wants a free flowing exhaust. Putting a better compressor on the same 60mm turbine will only help marginally.
