Ashton, drop the oil weight a little bit. You can rev higher with less issues. Not like you are going to be starving for oil pressure at 7k+ with a VVL pump.

full exhaust, intake and tune gets over 200whp on a dynojet. That's decent enough.

Also, swapping to E85 nets you a 30whp gain. And map switching is available on the fly with ECUtek tuning.

I actually already talked to them about that. They promised MSRP pricing, zero markup. It's partially the reason this dealer can't keep them in stock. All the other suby dealers want about $32k-$36k.

I wonder how well a high compression low boost GTX28r would perform. SR20VE with 11:1 compression and say, 8psi.

I would guess 300whp on 8psi. And E85 would be a riot!

Actually a guy weighed the wheels and they came out heavier. Also, the inducer is larger because of the larger trim wheels, and the blades are full-size.

The FRS headlamps are cheap. no LED, no HID, chrome housing... they just don't look that good.

Strange, I prefer the BRZ to the FR-S. I used to like the FR-S front bumper but now it looks too aggressive. I'm feeling like an old man now lol. the BRZ looks more refined, and not as cheap.

They did keep the DI. And the E85 fetish continues. Making 20+whp on an E85 tune, the ECUtek racerom allows for on-the-fly map switching in case you want to run either fuel.
