everyone said that sintered iron would be very hard to drive and very harsh, but mine has been really good to me. No chatter, a little noise but that is it. I don't know how bad it has chewed the f...

It is a sintered iron disc, but it has a lighter pp. It was custom made by slightly modifying the geometry of the stock pp to get 2000lbs of clamp.

The clutch doesn't like over 400lb ft of torqu...

VET is very expensive. Not worth it unless you want more than 400whp all the time. Prob isn't even worth it then.

My VET is around 500whp now, but I feel like the DE route would have been much ...

Yes, but although you use more fuel you can also get more bang from it as well. A little off topic, but since you are adding more fuel because E85 carries its own oxygen with it, you get more fuel ...

Everyone I know says that RP sucks on the track. When oil pressure gets under 20psi at idle after a few laps on a 10w40, you know something aint right. ;)

the 0w30 castrol is just fine. The analysis shows it just barely under the limit for a 40wt oil. It is amazing. But if you want thicker, get the rotella 5w40. It is just a hair heavier, and guys us...

I've had great luck with my unsprung, and the sintered iron grabs really well, no chatter. The clutch is having some problems harnessing all the torque now though. But slipping clutch helps to save...

they both meet the same specs, but the oils may be different. TBN analysis shows that the german stuff is more stout, though I can't be for sure on that one. I'd stick to the one that is made in Ge...

MMMMM high compression turbo motor.

I wanna build a 10:1 turbo motor and run about 10psi daily. 18psi on 100 octane. I bet it would make really sick power.

I may try MT90 next. The synchromesh is way too thin. I need something thicker. But I was an unlucky one with the heavy shockproof. About 450whp and I grenaded 2nd gear in my P11 trans while runnin...

The Rotella has a very nice cleanup package. You won't have to worry about any sludge buildup with all the anti-soot additives that keep things clean.

The Rotella 5w40 is really really stout. Af...

I am curious how you all use normal coastal and Valvoline or mobil oils. If I don't use a GL4 oil my trans won't shift. I put some 75w90 coastal in my car to flush the system after the new build an...

I wanna build a 10:1 or 10.5:1 VE and see what boost it will handle on my setup on pump. A VE should be able to handle 10psi all the way up to almost 11:1 with a free flowing turbo and intercooler....

true, the VVL will prob spool it faster. I just really love the stellar response from the disco.

They have a bunch of different turbos from garrett rated up to 475hp or so for the GT2871r.

nice results. Not bad, but I've seen a lot of laggy HX35 setups. They must REALLY like to breathe on the exhaust side to aid spool. That exhaust has to be killing the powerband.
