Not to get off topic, but I was thinking of posting this on the old forum. I would like to share any info on this with the community... but I won't. Because that site is just too damn slow lol.

Ya it makes me wanna give those stock cams a try again... but I know they still won't like the small housing. It would be nice to see how they do though.

I wish I could log the boost. Hits 15psi easy at 3700-3800rpm, it just doesn't start charging hard until about 5000rpm still. I guess the Volumetric efficiency isn't in a sweet spot till then.

I would love to see a rotrex supercharger on a VE. I bet it would be sick. Hell, a rotrex on anything would have some pretty amazing results with some big cams/headwork.

Ya if I got caught doing some onramp pulls I would be in handcuffs lol.

I would love to feel 3rd break loose on my setup. I may need another 50whp though. On 23-24psi it fights traction, but hol...

Ya thats what I was thinking. All my pulls were done in 3rd as well because the clutch wouldn't hold 4th.

It seems to flow quite well though. How does it respond on the street?

This was not stock cams?

I shouldn't ever have issues with creep with the two wastegates, and I dont thing there is a downside to running this divided manifold on an undivided turbo.

The powe...

Tell me, the turbine housing was a .82 right? I bet it was.

The larger housings and the extra flow they provide get the engine very close to crossover. The big cams will come alive on the .82 ho...

I did find this dyno just now on a couple of STIs:
Same setups, but different manifold/housing combo. This is a .63ar tial housing GT35r vs a T4 1.06 GT35r.

34psi! wow! I bet I could make about 500+whp on that much boost with water/alky.

the 3071r will make a lot more power than the disco. It flows better all around. But the restrictive .63 and .78 housings will get their butts kicked by the .86ar in both the disco and the 3071r.

True, but the trim is only part of the picture as to why the wheel flows the way it does. Larger wheels in smaller trims can flow just as much or more, and can have higher efficiency.

Thanks ashton. I like the SC61. Even with a .63ar housing, the SC61 turbine will kill the flow of a .63 T31 turbine. It wouldn't even be close! We're talkin about 70-74mm 75trim turbines compared t...

What housing was manny running again? .82 on the SC61? Even if he was running a .70 it would still flow tons more than this small T31 turbine. The SC61 is somewhere around 75mm right?
